Throughout my childhood, there have been many memorable pieces of pop culture that made an impact with me. One of those was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, specifically the animated series and the first two films. But three years before the beloved cartoon, the world would see the birth of these characters on the printed page, in comic book form.
