Movie Score Mania: Pacific Rim

I honestly haven't watched Pacific Rim since I saw it in theaters when it first came out. I even own the Blu-ray. I just haven't felt like watching it. Not saying it was bad, there just hasn't been that urge to re-watch it again.  I love director Guillermo Del Toro's work and loved this movie but, I don't know something was missing from it but wasn't missing was a truly epic score.

MSM: Argo

French composer Alexandre Desplat, may not be a household name, like a John Williams or Hans Zimmer. But, given some time and the right picture he could join those ranks. You may have heard his name in passing. His score for Philomenea was nominated for a Oscar this year and pretty much every year for the last five years. So, let's take a look at the 2013 nominee, Argo.
