Chronicle

Director: Josh Trank

Director Josh Trank makes a film that's relatable while still being extraordinary. Three teenagers end up gaining the power of Telekinesis (the ability to lift, move, bend, and control things with your mind). It starts off all fun and games but slowly delves into the darker side of things. The found footage aspect works in the beginning but by the end it gets kind of tired. Overall it's a solid film with a good cast some known and unknown actors. Trank and writer Max Landis (son of director John Landis) make a good team in both of their first feature film debuts.
