The 12 Days of Scrooged

I personally think they story of a Christmas Carol is kind of corny. But the tale of old man Ebenezer Scrooge is indeed a classic and has been told many times over in many different ways. Like I said I'm not the biggest fan of A Christmas Carol but I truly endure Scrooged and we can all thank Bill Murray.

Bill Murray does indeed bring something new to the story but so do the writers. It's not exactly like the original story and that may be for the best. In this Murray plays a snobby, self centered, lonely, greedy tv producer who is actually working on a version of A Christmas Carol. But he wasn't always this way, once upon a time, he cared and loved and felt for other people. The three ghosts that visit him, remind him of this.

But Murray isn't alone, his supporting cast is just as great. Now I don't know the name of some of the actors sadly but Bobcat Goldthwait, Karen Allen, Carol Kane, Alfre Woodard and Carol Kane plus the other actors I didn't mention all have great performances.

What's makes this Christmassy?

Besides being another rendition of A Christmas Carol the best scene is when you they go into the past and you get to see what a fun loving guy Murray's character use to be.
