Die Hard is one of the best action films ever made. Due to it's striped down approach. Sure it has a few corny 80's moments and some big explosions. But, it's just as fresh today as it was 25 years ago. It's simple concept of a everyman versus a international terrorist group inspires me as a writer. The way John McClane out foxes his foes oddly enough inspires me as a human. I don't know how but, he does. Shut up!

The End Of An Era: Blockbuster Officially Closed

For nearly 3 decades, the video rental industry has been dominated by one company, Blockbuster.  From VHS, to DVD, to Blu-Ray, and even video games, systems and other movie merchandise, Blockbuster has become a household name.  I remember spending many days in high school wandering around my local Blockbuster, in search of the perfect movie.  But those days are no more.
