A Christmas classic, it's a fun story and it's simple. It's just about a kid wanting to get this one specific gift for Christmas. But it's more than just that really, it's about this era and this family. When I first saw this movie I seriously thought it was a lot older than it was. Ever since I saw it, myself and my family watch it every year. Good thing shows a Christmas Day marathon of it every year.
It's filled to the brim with classic scenes. If you haven't seen it then what are you waiting for. I don't want to ruin it for anyone but it'll have you laughing from beginning to end from the pole dare all the way to the Chinese Christmas dinner.
What makes it Christmassy?
What doesn't make it Christmassy? I personally think this and Elf are the perfect Christmas movies. They both need to be in everyone's collection.
