Throwback Thursday: Joss Whedon's SERENITY

Joss Whedon is a god in the geek circles.  This fame came originally from his work in television, on shows such as Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dollhouse, and my personal favorite, Firefly.  But more recently his fame has grown due to his success with Marvel's big team-up film, The Avengers.  Whedon's jump into the world of film was a very personal one, with Serenity, the big screen sequel to his cult-favorite series Firefly.

After watching the first official trailer for Marvel's newest film, Guardians of the Galaxy, I only had one word to describe it...perfect.  Check it out below.
