Movie Score Mania: Pacific Rim

I honestly haven't watched Pacific Rim since I saw it in theaters when it first came out. I even own the Blu-ray. I just haven't felt like watching it. Not saying it was bad, there just hasn't been that urge to re-watch it again.  I love director Guillermo Del Toro's work and loved this movie but, I don't know something was missing from it but wasn't missing was a truly epic score.

Eli's Top 10 of 2013

It's come to this, the end of an era, or more like the end of 2013. with that comes my best of list, as in the best movies of 2013. I've seen a lot of movies this year, so I'm going to pick my top ten from the movie tickets I have, which I do indeed save. Now with my favorite cliched movie line, "Let's get this party started."

If I still lived in a select city this list would have turned out differently. It would have included Hayo Miyazaki's The Wind Rises.  It might have even included Her and Inside Llewyn Davis. But, I don't so here's all the films I thought were worth my while and would gladly see again any day of the week. So hold on to your butts!
